Baia Di Chia



Sardinia beaches are well know all around the worls,one of the most beautiful places of the southern coast of Sardinia starting from the east is Baia di Chia. This part of Sardinia island have small creeks that unite the island with the mainland of On Cardolinu or Isula Manna. from this direction of the bay you can  arrive by foot, but it is a pleasant five minute walk can begin at the foot of the promontory of the Torre di Chia. The island of Su cardolinu also is best known to historians for the archaeological excavations that have unearthed the remains of the ancient Phoenician city of Bithia with its characteristic Tophets. Some of the artifacts found there are also available at the Archaeological Museum of Chia Domus de Maria where is located the Hotel Parco Torre Chia which is a part. Continuing to the west, you come to the cove known as la Marina with the typical half-moon shape and deep water.
